What do we mean by design profile? We’re talking about all the little things about you that work together to create your personal style—your “look,” in other words. These are aspects of your personality about which you may not be consciously aware, but it’s these subtle preferences that make you distinctly … you.
Still not clear? Consider the clothes you typically wear. Are they bright, primary colors, earth tones, or even neutral? Up-to-the-second fashionable or timeless and traditional? Form fitting or loose? Fun and flirty or more reserved? The way you answer those and many other questions defines your Design Profile—at least in terms of clothing.
We’ll learn much more about your likes and dislikes during your first design meeting, but you can get started right away by sharing with us the designs you’ve selected from the Inspiration Galleries by completing and sending in the questionnaire below. In just a few minutes you’ll be on your way to creating your custom design. For more insight into the idea of design profile, watch Christopher’s video below.

This video explains our unique approach to jewelry design
If you haven’t already, start defining your Design Profile with a visit to our Inspiration Galleries. As you collect your favorite designs from the collections of different styles, they will appear in the space below. Even if you like only a single aspect of a design, save it so you can discuss it later with our design team. Once you’ve created an assortment of designs you like, click the blue “Copy” button at the bottom of the list below and paste the link in the top of the Design Profile questionnaire.
Next you’re going to answer several more, very specific questions. Over the years we’ve found that learning your reactions to just a few basic elements of jewelry style is a major part of successfully creating a custom design. We call these most important elements the “core four”—they are symmetry (or balance), detail (think “busyness”), mass, and scale. Completing the short survey below will give us a much better understanding of your style preferences.
Start by using the blue “Copy” button and pasting the link into the message box below. Feel free to add any additional questions or comments you have and we’ll get back to you quickly, usually within 24 hours.
Next, complete the following questionnaire. I have compiled the questions below to begin to get to know you and your design profile. We will go into much more depth when we discuss your project during our design meetings. I hope you are excited—I’m looking forward to meeting you!
